Clube das Ilhas Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This is a translation of the original Portuguese version. If there is any difference between them, the Portuguese version prevails.

This policy explains what data the Clube das Ilhas app (package com.clubedasilhas.app), published by Langames, collects, what it is used for, who it is shared with and how you control all of it. It follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018) and Google Play’s rules.

30-second summary

1. Who we are

Langames is the developer and publisher of Clube das Ilhas and is responsible (the controller, under the LGPD) for the data processed in the game.

To contact us about privacy, use the details in section 14.

2. Guest or account: what we collect

Playing as a guest (not signed in)

You can open the game and play without creating an account. As a guest:

We don’t use your data for advertising and we don’t make automated decisions that significantly affect you, except automated detection of cheating and fraud. If your account is blocked because of that, you can ask for a review using the contact in section 14.

4. Sign in with Google and other providers

Signing in is optional. The game only asks when you want to save to the cloud, make purchases or play with friends, and you can keep playing as a guest if you prefer.

When you tap “Sign in with Google”, Google confirms your identity. It only tells us the account identifier, your name, email address and profile picture, as shown on the permission screen you see. We never receive your password. The same applies to other providers the game may offer (for example, Apple on iPhone devices).

Your use of your provider account is governed by that provider’s privacy policy, such as Google’s Privacy Policy. You can remove Clube das Ilhas’ access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections; this does not delete your game data (for that, see section 12).

5. Pearl purchases and season pass

The game is free, with optional purchases. You need to sign in to buy, so what you bought is stored safely and isn’t lost if you change phones.

All purchases are made through Google Play’s billing system. Payment is processed by Google, which keeps your card or payment method details. Langames only receives purchase confirmation from Google (order number, product, price and status) to deliver what you bought and record the transaction.

Refunds follow Google Play’s rules and the Terms of Use. When Google notifies us of a refund, we remove the corresponding Pearls or pass from your account.

6. What other players see

When you use features with friends, other players may see your nickname, avatar, level and your island (decorations and animals, with the names you gave them). Your real name, email address and Google profile picture are not shown to other players. Choose a nickname that doesn’t reveal who you are.

7. Who we share with

We don’t sell or rent your data. We only share what is necessary with:

8. Where and for how long we keep data

Your data is stored on a server hired by Langames. If the server or any of the partners above is located outside Brazil, the transfer follows the LGPD rules (art. 33), with partners that provide adequate protection.

DataHow long
Account, profile, progress, pass and friendsAs long as the account exists. After a deletion request, we delete it within 30 days.
Inactive accountsIf you don’t sign in for 2 years in a row, we may delete the account, with prior notice by email.
BackupsUp to 30 days after deletion, until old copies are replaced.
Purchase recordsFor the period required by tax and consumer laws (usually 5 years), even after the account is deleted, unlinked from your progress.
Access logs (IP, date and time)6 months, as required by Brazil’s Internet Civil Framework.
Support messagesUp to 1 year after the request is handled.

The game also stores your progress on your phone: as a guest, it is the only copy; with an account, it is a copy that makes the game faster. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

9. Security

All communication between the game and the server is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data on the server is restricted, and we make daily backups. No system is 100% secure; if a security incident happens that may put you at risk, we will notify you and Brazil’s data protection authority (ANPD), as required by law.

10. Phone permissions

PermissionWhat for

11. Children and teenagers

The game has no violence or gambling and is designed for ages 13 and up. Children can play as guests without sending any data. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If a child created an account without permission, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete it using the contact in section 14.

Teenagers need permission from their parents or guardians to make purchases. We recommend turning on purchase authentication and parental controls in Google Play, which require a password or approval before each purchase.

12. Your rights and how to delete your account

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can ask at any time for:

If you play as a guest, we have no data about you on the server: to erase everything, just uninstall the game or clear the app’s data in Android settings.

To delete your account, use Settings → Account → Delete account in the game, or follow the instructions on the Delete account and data page, which works even without the app installed.

Please note: deleting your account permanently erases your island, Pearls and season pass, without a refund for anything already used or purchased.

We reply to requests within 15 days. You can also file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

13. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant (for example, a new type of data or a new partner), we will let you know in the game before it takes effect.
